RECONCILE NIGHTS
Thursday’s online

We understand that people often come together in a multiethnic church setting because they know, or at least want to know, how to embrace God’s call for unity and oneness within the body of Christ, while also becoming reconcilers. To start this journey we encourage everyone to join us Thursday nights online for Reconcile Nights. We know proximity to people different from us enriches us.

As church, we get together once a week to, chat a little, talk about Scripture, and share prayer requests with other believers.

Our small groups are all diverse. They include men and women, married and single folks. They also include people from different racial backgrounds, yet race is not always the focus of our conversations. Historically and culturally, though, divisions among race have shaped the way we think about religion, education, wealth, politics, and practices, so we realize that race affects our experiences and conversations. So we do create seasons within our small groups to walk through curriculum, such as Be The Bridge To Racial Reconciliation, to help us become aware of experiences that are not lie out own.

We firmly believe that when we're rubbing elbows in Christian fellowship with people who are different from us, we can learn from each other and grow more like Christ. The ultimate aim of our small groups is for all Christ followers to care deeply about and pursue other followers of Christ, including the ones that we don't instinctively value or like. This means we allow our identity as members of the body of Christ to trump all other identities.
